The place I love the most

A familiar place

A FAMILIAR PLACE

A gentle breeze across the bay
Tantalizes a small sea spray
A little swell comes rolling in
Breaking on the reef within

The morning sun is only just risin'
It breaks its light upon the horizon
No better sight a surfer sees
Than a four foot swell and an offshore breeze

I love this motion in the ocean
It really peppers my devotion
Promise me when I leave this Earth
To scatter my ashes out in the surf

Across this bay that is my first love
Created from the Man above
Let those waves carry them to the shore
Let the tide take them out so I can do it once more!
