It was late autumn as Bill walked to his twin brother Ben's office.
The cold stabbed his old bones, spurring him on to the hated task.
He needed a job!
Too old to slave in the woods any longer for his miserly brother, he was now reduced to begging him for any kind of job.
Entering his brother Ben's office, he found him slumped over his desk, dead.
The mill hands were stunned by a Christmas bonus that year from their smiling boss.
Puzzled, they concluded, "He's changed since his brother dropped dead.Too bad Bill's not here to see it!"
