Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Without Faith it is impossible to please Him

Invisible Friend

by Carolyn 'Deaton' Stephens

When we can't see through mortal eyes
the path that lies ahead
We draw on Faith to see us through
the doubts, the fears and dread

Faith lies within believing hearts
and waits for us to call
It's patience calms the weary soul
to hold us lest we fall

Faith can't be seen yet it is there
Our courage to renew
It softly whispers,'don't be afraid'
He sees farther than we do

No doubt or fear can get us down
Faith's beside us to the end
Lean on the Father of us all
He, is the answer, my friend

On June 7, 2017 our son Tony, age 54, was killed in a car/semi accident. On June 30, 2017 my dear mother in law, almost 90, passed away. Faith upholds the weary soul and shares our grief.

Thanks to catmal from FanArt for this beautiful lake scene.
