I sang to you in a rocking chair

Sing To Me

by Abby Wilson-hand

Ill sing to you oh my sweet love
god has gave to me
sometimes I sing to God a plea
to give you back to me
your eight years old my darling dear
I will sing to you
so can you hear my heart beat from your tired views.
you lay your head up on my chest all I do is weep
I hear your soft whispers of your song request
I'ill sing to you oh my sweet dear, that god has gave to me
I sing the plea to give you back to me but I don't think God is listening
your heart is weak your hair is gone I'ill rock this chair until your gone
all your dreams won't come true cause your heart beats still and so are you
the chair has stopped the rocking
the betrayal has set in
you have closed your eyes forever and mine still cries within
and still I'ill sing to you until your soul is gone
will you sing to me in the morning from heavens new dawn
will you sing to me when I'm on my knees
I'ill sing to you every day
though I know the hurt will never go away
but please just sing to me
