Angel in the Meadow

by dovemarie

My angel was walking in a meadow
I saw him from my window
He waved to me to join him
In his hand he held a rose
And on his shoulder was a snow-white dove

He stood in gallant pose
Ready to fight all my foes
Above his head floated a fluffy white cloud
To have him for a guardian, I am so proud
