Song lyrics
After the summer
The author has placed a warning on this post for sexual content.
The summer was gone
though It only was the end of May
Such a day is never-ending
Friends came by
But I just wanted to be alone
Walking at the beach with no specific goal.
Then I saw you,
You called me with your eyes.
I looked at you,
And got such a weird feeling,
Cause I got
What you wanted to ask me
Come closer to me, please
Then I saw you,
You called me with your eyes.
I looked at you,
And got such a weird feeling,
Cause I got
What you wanted to ask me
Come closer to me, please
I was 16 years old and you 28
And I did not have much knowledge of love
But I understood what you wanted to tell me
I was no child anymore
And summer came
Your eyes called me
I looked at you
And got a weird feeling
Cause I got
What you wanted to ask
Come closer, please.
I was 16 years old and you 28
And I did not have much knowledge of love
But I understood what you wanted to tell me
I was no child anymore
And summer came
We walked further together along the beach
And as a boy I got hold of your hand
But as a man, I watched the sun rise again
And the summer arrived
Summer came
You were so free, I thought it a bit weird
You only were wearing your long blond hair
I was shy and did not know what to do
I watched you and felt so ignorant
'I understand', I hear you say
You're still so young,
don't know what to do
Fear not: in one night you will know
Come closer dear
We walked further together along the beach
And as a boy I got hold of your hand
But as a man, I watched the sun rise again
And the summer arrived
Summer came
For the fist time in my whole life
Summer came for the very first time.
I was a man when at the sunrise
And summer came
Summer is here
For the fist time in my whole life
Summer came for the very first time.
I was a man when at the sunrise
And summer came
Summer is here
I wished summer to never end
