Is what our teachers teach in school.
Good-natured children quickly learn
Others are friendly in return.

Ruby was rude, which wasn’t cool.
People didn’t forgive her ways,
Which led to lonely nights and days.
Always obey the Golden Rule.

Mother told her, ”Ruby, if you’ll
always obey the Golden Rule,
life will be much kinder to you.”
She did, and Mother’s vow came true!
