Somewhenever, Time and Time Again

by Badger_29

"Time does not pass, it continues" Marty Rubin

To live, then die
seems so significant;
to experience the high,
what more could you want?

We enter this mode
in a traumatic way.
This poem is an ode
to ALL that has
led up to this day.

For now is the only
acceptable time;
yesterday was lonely,
tomorrow, sublime.

To ponder the enormity
of before and after,
think not with enmity-
try a little laughter!

For this cosmic riddle
 reeling for OUR pleasure.
 Think your part is little?
Take another measure!

But we must earn
our timely rewards,
we all must learn
that we cannot afford

to approach reality
with apathy,
for what will be, will be.
Let your gift unfold,
and you will see:

that you reap what you sow!
And, if you work hard and well;
grasp ahold of the oar, and
~row~
and then
time and space will tell . . .

what exactly will transpire
when we do go from this flesh:
we'll go even higher-
space-time-fabric-enmeshed.

Knowing more,
feeling less.
Through the door,
into somenothingness . . .

~Let your spirit roar!~

into the great beyond
where obscure secrets are told, and
the inhabitants are fond
of their spiritual fold.

Floating
aboding.
Hiding,
abiding.

Seeing,
being,
free~

sublime: adjective
1. elevated or lofty in thought, language, etc.: Paradise Lost is sublime poetry.
2. impressing the mind with a sense of grandeur or power; inspiring awe, veneration, etc.: Switzerland has sublime scenery.
3. supreme or outstanding: a sublime dinner.
4. complete; absolute; utter: sublime stupidity.
5. Archaic: of lofty bearing.

enmity: noun, plural enmities.
1. a feeling or condition of hostility; hatred; ill will; animosity; antagonism.

"somenothingness": a word I attempted to coin. I did not want to say either by itself, so I said both.

"somewhenever", another word combination. I truly appreciate your latitude with my poetic license!
