Is it as simple as saying,
"You're a lucky person?"
You may have stumbled upon a bag
full of money and kept it.
Now you live in a fancy house
and drive the car in your dreams.
Never once thinking about where
the money came from and who's
at a loss for losing it.
It was simply your luck in finding it!

Maybe you have lucky radar.
You can set your sights for a partner,
who's bank account has lost its current total
for it's run off the side of the page.
"Isn't she a lucky girl to have found him?"
She has the switch to turn on or off, which on
is needed to win him over and if the
relationship should come to an end, she
just switches herself off, no emotions to deal with.
Just a full bank account to live on.
Lucky with and lucky without.

Your life may not be in a very admirable
situation because you're living in poverty
"But you're lucky your government throws
you something to try and live on."
You're appreciative, gratitude is overflowing
with gratefulness but you're humiliated with
your life's progress to-date.
You're told, "You are lucky to be alive",
and you think, "Am I really?"

You may be one of the lucky ones
to have an honest to goodness, loyal,
trustworthy, dependable friend.
"You're lucky to have me as your friend,"
but are they there when you truly need a friend?
Will they answer your phone call or text
at all hours of the night? Or do they always
say their cell was dead and they just put it
on the charger?
"A friend in need is a friend indeed."
What does that really mean?
You're lucky to have a needy friend?

be lucky, I wish you'd come by and
let me rub your head.
