TY, to Mark, for the awesome picture!
Sensei Goldie, a golden dragonfly, and Flower Power, a superhero daisy, sit and overlook the pond.

“Flower, there are many differences in the world.”

“Yes, you have told me.”

“But there is one I did not tell you about.  You can walk, talk, bend down, and sit.  Some cannot do this.”

Flower Power looked at his teacher with a frown.  “But Sensei Goldie, I have never seen this, just difference in the bodies.”

“Well, this is different, Flower.  Their bodies do not work the same way as others.  Some cannot walk well, or at all.  They walk with sticks or ride in special chairs.”

The daisy looked sad.  “Oh.”

“Even floral do, people, insects, and fish.”  Goldie indicated the pond.

Flower followed her hand.  Suddenly the pond water divided in half and Flower saw a large gold fish.  His or her bottom half was in a kind of chair with fins for a fish to use to propel through the water.  Then the water closed.

Drawing in a breath, Flower looked at Goldie.

The golden dragonfly pointed.  “Look!”

Flower Power glanced quickly and saw an army of ants marching by on the opposite shore.  He used his special sight to see this far.  One of the ants was missing some legs.  The ant was being pushed by another ant in a chair with wheels, not unlike the goldfish's chair.  Flower looked sadly at his sensei.

“Some have disabilities that we can see, and other have them that we cannot see, like a sick heart or lungs.  They deserve to be treated like everyone else.  Also, no feeling sorry for them.  They are very strong to live with disabilities.”

Flower got an image in his head at that point.  In the image, he was handing a sugar cube to the ant in a wheelchair.  They both smiled at each other.
