Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Thoughts on a quiet evening

Serenity

In stillness of the evening air
I heard Your soothing voice --
revealed upon a gentle breeze
that made my soul rejoice.

A full moon rose into the night
of velvet indigo --
and soon the heaven's Milky Way
smiled on the earth below.

Secure upon a distant hill
a night bird could be heard.
His lovely song seemed just for me --
but I spoke not a word.

Black midnight came and then the dawn
in calm serenity.
My pilgrimage will be complete
in Your eternity.
