Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
His Love is Constant

Life Struggles

A primal cry from deep within
resounds and permeates my soul.
It weeps and wails from ancient sin
and pleads to God to be made whole.

Yet every time I hear your name
or see a picture of your face --
my heart is broken just the same
as when you left without a trace.

I try to move on past the pain
that festers in my broken heart.
Raw anguish that I can't restrain --
deep anger that will not depart.

Surrender to the path that's best --
a choice I've been remiss to choose.
Reluctant to let go and rest
in arms that save, where I can't lose.

Your love is constant -- always there
though I feel lost and others flee.
Please give me grace to grow and share --
accept Your love that's meant for me.
