Don't believe everything they say

If You Are, I Am, And We All Are

by Ogden

"You are what you eat,”  we all know it is said.
You are, in that case, all that stuff you are fed.
I am what I eat, if what they say is true;
I am, then, part rock cornish hen,
And leftover Mulligan stew.

I am what’s written above, if
I am my fare of the last two days.
I am, therefore, that - and, to be frank,
I am lucky I’m not what I drank!

(And you know where that went.)
