Seeing the wind

by betsykentnc

Trees full of pollen.
Wind turns yellow when it blows
Through the tall young pines.

Newbie 5-7-5 contest entry

Last spring, as I was driving past a small stand of pine trees on a windy day, I could see the wind, dyed yellow with pine pollen. Christina Rossetti thought nobody could see the wind. She was never in North Carolina in pollen season.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
