Our husbands died within months of each other. A year later, her daughter was killed. Three months later, my grandson died.

We were each other's confidant and shoulder to cry on. We started a group called "Whole Again" helping others deal with the pain of loss. Our friendship was a bond that saved me.

Now, she has found new happiness. She has a new beau. They are making wonderful and deserved plans for the future. I am so happy for her. She is moving on and life will be changing for her soon.

But so will mine.
