Short and Colorful Contest Winner

Enjoy the beauty of our world,
the cherry blossoms in the spring,
yellow daffodils that dance,
cardinals and larks that sing,
shaded fern's uncurling plume,
the purple lilac's sweet perfume.

Enjoy the beauty of our world,
budding bushes, leafing trees,
fresh mown lawns now lush and green,
hyacinths abuzz with bees,
the glory of a rising sun,
delight and awe when day is done.

Savor all that Nature yields.
Philanthropist extraordinaire,
all her gifts gratuitous,
she strives to pleasure, give and share.
Let's praise her generosity,
what she's bestowed on you and me.
