Why I Love Him So
In the valley I wandered
so very lost in my sin,
Jesus came to me
with the compass of His love
and pointed me to the cross
there on Calvary's hill.
He guided me out
of that valley of sin
to the cross where He
had me lay my burden
of sin upon Him
then gave me peace within.
He took me to the well
of His living water,
since I was so dry
He began to fill my cup
to quench my thirst
so I'm no longer dry.
He took me to a pasture
that was His precious word
on which I could feed
so I'd no longer hunger
and I would grow
to become strong in Him.
Out of the valley of sin
I now offer praise to Him
for He forgives my sin
gives me living water
and feeds my soul
that's why I love Him so.
