Guess What I am

by pome lover

Who loves dry and sunny places?
Has no teeth so won't need braces.
Who can hop and hop and hop
Onto lily-pads--ker-plop?

Whose thick skin is soft and bumpy?
Throat puffed out, he looks all 'mumpy'!
If you dare give him a poke
You will prob'bly hear him croak!

Who loves flies and fat mosquitos?
No, I don't think he likes Cheetos,
He would rather eat a fly;
Glad I'm not a fly, says I!

Who has eighteen toes in all
But doesn't like to play football!
Four on front feet, five on back
And for sure he doesn't quack!
