I Miss You So

You are gone.
My arms are empty.
There's a piece lost from my heart.
I watched you become strong men.
Through your child's bright eyes
I see you

it holds you
deep in memories
filed within my heart and soul.
I exist on God's true word
I'll see you again
hold you tight

your children,
are growing in love.
Their place in heaven is set,
bought through love they understand;
just as you both did
when you were
