When I Kneel to Pray

When I kneel down to say a prayer.
I do know the Lord will meet me there.
I feel His holy presence all around.
I pray from my mind to His, not nary a sound.

I feel His love envelop me so deep.
There are times I truly must weep.
He leads me to places I learn to go.
In my obedience to Him His love He shows!

Learning to lean on Him is the best start.
He heals and rids me of any and all broken parts.
He is so true to His word and never will lie.
One day I will meet Him when I finally die.

Oh to see His precious face on that day!
It will be glorious I have to say.
All of the tears and fears will be gone.
I will finally be in the place I belong.
