Sometimes we just get lost in the void.

Time and its dimensions. Contest Winner 
Suspended
in the in between
time
where
the flurry of activity
no longer flutters..
I long to slip
beneath life's blanket
where a flaccid
response
is all that's required
in a languid land
where all for naught
is the only duty sired
where even a whisper
remains retired..
in the in between time
where rest is restored
on the cusp of what's next
and postponement
becomes
tomorrow's reward.
