This work has reached the exceptional level
a nonet poem

the gypsy's song

Beneath stars, the lonely gypsy sings
of love, dusty roads, simple things.
His mournful song, soft and sweet
sways his head, taps his feet.

I watch behind trees,
hidden from sight.

I long to
hug him
tight.
