Typical Day
My Muse

My Muse,being an owl, keeps me up till 3a.m. A few hours later duty calls.
The early morning commute takes no prisoners. Not in the traffic jam by 7.30 a.m,my new, robotic style boss will threaten 'fired' in his disembodied tone. I hang on to my nonplussed response,assuring him that all reports will be filed and ready,by noon,a good two hours ahead of schedule.
I'm hedging my bets,buoyed up by my poetic musings from the small hours.
A writer's life can be a ray of sunshine in a mundane day!
