No choice is a good choice but must step up to the plate.

Torn

by DALLAS01

Decisions
revisions
reduced to incisions
puncture wounds
clutching my core;

show up or stay home
a grievous syndrome
or write in my selection
by sweeping it out the back door;

a cowardly choice
I know to be true
rescinding my right
to complain;

God help us all
In the midst of this squall
I've decided
not to refrain.
