Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
There are those days!

An introvert's haven

by DALLAS01


Take me home
to my hacienda
and
tuck me into my safe harbor
or
fling me into my foxhole.

See it?
there it is-
my castle
perched high atop
the foothills of life's phobias
a mansion
towering above
a
menagerie of madness
that threatens my serenity.

Hurry up-
before I fade
into the world's woodwork
parachute me into my drop zone
of pastel surroundings
that will embrace --not erase me.

Plop me down
on my comfy couch
where my cat awaits me
and
raise the damn drawbridge.
