My moms mom depended on my grandmother every week

To My Mother From Hers

by Abby Wilson-hand

God looked around his garden and saw an empty space...
He looked upon her bright red hair and saw her tired face...
Mom put her arms around her while she was lifted up to Grace...
God's garden was so beautiful no one could take her place...
Mom knew you were suffering she knew you were in pain...
For part of mom went with you the day God called her name...
Now that I'm older now I understand your why they put the word
of grand before the word of mother...
I will hold mom's hand and won't have to say a word...
For you really taught her to be the mother that she was to me...
So every spring in our gardens we know that you are there...
Because we know your God's angel with the bright red hair...
So here I close my eyes and I try not to cry...
But my eyelids are not strong enough to hold back my goodbye...
A music box in hand under the mistletoe.
I feel our hearts are breaking because we will miss her so.
