I Play My Violin Just for You

My love, I come to play my violin...
praying and hoping your heart I'll win
Outside on a dreary night, I dare play
birds flying high going their own way


The moon gives off a bountiful light
as I play this music in sheer delight
Standing tall and proud, I seek your face
wishing and wanting a loving embrace


I'll play a tune every night, just for you...
will play it 'til my hands turn cold and blue
While a little voice cries out from within
my love, I come to play my violin...
