Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Father's day

Fond memory

FOND MEMORY

This day comes 'round just once a year
A special day for sure
Makes you think that he's so near
And you want to see him more

But he is gone, the angels took him
Been a while now
Doesn't mean I still don't miss him
He's still my father anyhow

So I always shed a tear each time
As I sit with this fond memory
Of a man I can only write in rhyme
Though the words just might seem temporary

I miss you Dad I miss your smile
And all the things you did
Don't think I could reconcile
All the good things when just a kid

So hang in there Dad it is your son
I have nothing more to say
Just to say you're number one
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

It's Sunday in Australia. The first Sunday in September is father's day. My dad passed away some 6 years ago but i still miss him. Here is a poem dedicated to all the dad's out there. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
