Just a Talk with my Lord!

Good morning, Lord! I come to you hopefully making your day.
I know when I talk to you I can truly have my honest say.

You listen intently on all my words from my heart as I speak'
You know when I am being humble and meek'

You love when your children spend time with you.
It makes me sad to know I've made you feel lonely or blue.

I wish people would understand you have feelings too!
Then maybe they would learn to talk more often to you.

You see Lord, you don't see me sitting here in my gown and messy hair.
You see my heart and I try to keep it full of love and always be fair.

Thank you Lord for spending time with lowly me.
Afterwards I do feel You holy victory!

Early in the morning is my alone time with the Lord and a lot of other times too. It makes my day go so much better when I talk with Him first. May God bless you all.
