Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
On the dark side of the moon.

Collapsing (free verse)

His essence eludes me--
a ghostly whisper
undefined
never to be captured
in the lens
that longs to
preserve
us
for eternity;

clothed in stillness,
the
breeze stands its ground-
forbidding the leaves to rustle
their response to the storm
that brews inside me;

even the moon
refuses to
emerge,
sheltering behind
clouded indifference
it grants me no guidance
bequeaths me no light-
unabashed
it
alone
bears witness
to my
collapse.
