The game's not worth the candle, Red
just let it go
those dragons living in your head
are old and slow
the stories that you ache to tell
forgotten? Hey, it's just as well.
Some things are better left unsaid.
Just let it go.

It's too much work to bring to life
forgotten woe
let sleep the dead and buried strife
of long ago
To heart take lessons you have learned:
some books unborn should just be burned.
Don't hesitate to use the knife
just let it go.
