Run rabbit, run
swiftly drops death
around flies hawk
lean and hungry
fighting gale
down and up
up and down
gale fighting
hungry and lean
hawk flies around
death drops swiftly
run rabbit run
cry, thin, reedy.

A hawk staking his territory has a thin reedy cry. (they hunt silently)
A stricken rabbit has a thin reedy cry.
If I had a month or two, I could improve on this. Maybe.
