Bugs by name

by LIJ Red

Henry David Thoreau one dark night
hoped to watch as piss ants had a fight
until one of their brass
bit him dead in the ass
Major Dwight put poor David to flight

scuzzbag hornets, them big Europeans
pee me off worser'n Nawthish Koreans
they will sting and they bite
they fly round in the night
they're ma natures wustis miscrean's

A mean yellerjacket name o' Ted
popped ol' Red on the top of his head
then with gas in the night
and bug spray in the light
Red left po' Ted and Fam'ly all dead.

Hey, this is one of the oldtime nine by six limericks. More or less. After a fashion. To an extent.
apologies to Thoreau, who wrote about the ant war, and to General Dwight David Eisenhower
