In memory of Gayle Farmer
Gayle & God

As you can see, I wrote this 9 days after Gayle's passing; however, I did not know until her birthday that she had gone to be with the Lord. The impetus of this poem is from the next-to-last conversation Gayle and I. I assure you I would never assume I knew what she was feeling had she not told me.
I have been gone from this site. Gayle's illness and passing spurred me to get back to do what I was doing when I first met Gayle. I will be forever grateful for the many, many ways both Gayle and Jeff have given me over the years (G and J Publishing published my last book, "Spiritually Speaking."
More than anything, I will miss Gayle's special brand of friendship. I look forward to joining her one day so we can catch up and talk as long as we like.
A very special thanks to helvi for the use of her image to enhance this work.
