Our Castles In the Sand

Our castles in the sand - oh, how divine
they were; Nirvana seemed a step away.
We dined on manna on the leaves of vine,
The moon shed silver light to guide our way.

A perfect paradise, the stars were ours,
The sunlit sky was so intensely blue...
Our world was full of chocolates and flowers
The angels played their flutes for me and you.

But we forgot, the castles built in sand
are prone to change of tides and ocean gales --
Our structure crumbled, and our promised land
was a mirage, and fate had tipped the scales.

I draw your face on sand, my love, my dream ~
And in this heart you'll always reign supreme.
