Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
He stood alone.

Salvation's Rose.

by royowen

I ponder things of selfless fame,
of deeds so pure, of spotless claim.
there's just one deed, above the rest;
one glorious act -- meets that test

Salvation's Rose stood all alone,
judged and cursed by hearts of stone;
the Rose of Sharon shed a tear,
not for Himself -- He held no fear.

What do I have, with which to pay?
He's shown His grace, revealed His way.
This Rose was crushed; a Lamb was slain,
His blood was shed, to cleanse my stain.

I have one gift; my naked will,
one life to give, one heart to fill.
