My mind  adrift in the emotions of love
Of relationships
Of life
 
So many racing through me
Whirling, dancing along my skin
 
The blueness of a soul
Lost without its other half
 
The green stillness of jealousy
Rips ... at my being
 
The redness of rage
At your infidelity
Blinds my eyes

  
I need to break free,
Remove, the demons hiding inside my head
 
IF ... I am to return
The love of a good man
 
Let the softness of blue now reflect
Longing
 
Replacing the dull green of jealousy
With the vibrant green of renewal …of faith
 
Red …now delirious passion
Lasting long into the night
 
My soul now free
To paint the life of a fulfilled woman.
