Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
A free style poem.

Look how I grew up.

by robina1978

Just like you I was a baby first
with a hell of a thirst
not for mother's milk
only for booze.

A certain malt whiskey
was the best to have.
My father upped my supply
once a week or
more often when needed.

I have grown up now.
Guess what I am
a damned alcoholic.
One that is home-grown.

Shakes at daylight
I try to fight as one does,
but just whiskey helps
me through the day.
With the shakes I am
unable to put the key
in the door, so I can't
go outside.
I pass this time.
OUT, OUT.
