a poem on mirrors

calliope life

House of mirrors,
my world captured.
Spins me round
reflection fractured.

Calliope music
filling my head,
no way out,
reality shreds.

Crazy boxed world,
madly whirling.
I try to think,
thoughts are curling.

Carnival air
caresses my face,
I check my mirror...
Just in case.
