If I could
describe love
Would I do it justice?
As in poetic verse,
if you cannot feel
my depth
Or long to go
searching
for where it derived,
I've not done my job
in perfect portrayal.
My life
like good poetry -
I have to show you
in perfect imagery
what love truly is.

Breath upon breath
Purpose to purpose

My kisses gliding
upon your lips
My words whispered
close to your ear
My hands preparing surprises
Touching you ~
Tickling your senses
Stirring your wants
Your needs rising
Longings met
Desires reached
Dreams somehow
miraculously achieved

Divinity's timing
Where dusk meets dawn
Winter turning to Spring
Life renewed within a heart
No longer guarded
Walls self erected
crashing down
Pinning us together
In old rubble with new purpose
Stepping stones rearranged
Puzzle pieces snugly fit

The bigger picture
finally seen
before our eyes
Eye to eye
Cheek to cheek
