I believe in a simple life,
little foot prints, green and small.
I believe in recycling,
not splurging at the mall.

Healthy food you grow yourself
rainwater, compost soil.
Solar power when you can,
reject that foreign oil.

I like walking, riding bikes,
instead of taking cars.
Enjoying morning sunrises
and strolls beneath the stars.

Random acts of kindness,
lending helping hands,
simple praise and compliments
spontaneous, unplanned.

I find strength in friendship,
people loyal and true.
Own your life and feelings
have pride in what you do.

I like real conversations
but phones seem in control,
OMG, LOL, what do you mean?
Talk instead of scroll.

simple pleasures without strife,
