A Child's Reality

by amada

I'm a child playing at the seashore
Where the shore is my conscious time:
Touch and Feel, Touch and Feel = Real
T + F = R.

The ocean is my unconscious time:
See and Imagine, See and Imagine = Unknown
S + I = U.

But how much truth really matters?
It's the question, not the answer,
That enthralls the child.

Let the question live
Before she outgrows
The answer.

A world of possibilities lies in my tingling brain:
Questions + Answers + Faith + Disbeliefs
= Uncomfortable Human
Q + A + F + D = UH

I might as well say,
My biggest fear is not that I am inadequate
My biggest fear is not that I might be laughable
My biggest fear is that I might forget how to play--
How to be a child.

FINISH HERE?

Come and visit as

I am a child looking at sun being swallowed by the grave blue sea
where the sun is my ball of fire
and the sea is my fiery net.
Throw and Catch, Throw and Catch = Magic
T + C = M
