Jack and Jill Went Up the Hill

100 Word Dash Contest Winner

The real story, not the fairy tale.

Damn! It's like Jill knows her sister's buried here.

"Perfect spot, yes?"

"I suppose. But, why here?" She's on to me… must've made a mistake… left a clue.

"No reason, it's like she's still here…."

"But, Laura's not here." It's a setup--she knows, she knows!

"Well, we all used to come here—her spirit, I feel it."

"It's creepy with her being murdered. What does her spirit tell you?"

"Nothing really. It just feels restless."

I see it in your eyes. Well, you won't be missing her much longer.

"Why are you looking at me like that? Jack? Jack!"
