Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Confession's balm.

Some hurts...

Some hurts are like an open wound,
too deep to ever heal
a bridge that never can be crossed
a yacht without a keel.

Some thoughts are like a strong bear trap,
hold captive, won't let go,
to victims bring enduring harm
whose telling will not show.

Confession's not a weakness-it
inspires compassion's help,
it frees you from your fettered bonds,
manipulation's whelp.

Now God can never be approached,
lest through the blood of Christ,
He is the spotless Lamb of God,
His perfect sacrifice.

You can't be saved by keeping rules,
It simply can't be done,
the only thing the law reveals.
you need what Jesus won.

He did this to to show His righteousness, because His divine forbearance He had passed over sins previously committed." NIV.
