Mummy's gone and left us , for reasons I'll never understand
All I have is a photograph
ALL I HAVE IS A PHOTOGRAPH
All I have is a photograph, to remind you of our love
As I sit here and read your epitaph, your soul taken far above
All I have are the memories, of that beautiful life we had
As I gather with my contemporaries on this day, it is so sad
All my heart is taken, along with all my soul
I just feel here, so forsaken, it's really taking its toll
All I have is the dreams we had, our hopes and aspirations
Because those dreams used to make me glad, with you, as my inspiration
Now I sit alone in solitude and hold you in my heart
And think about the gratitude, knowing my love will always be part
Let me just take in this moment, let me reflect on what was us
Because you really knew what love meant, but I don't want to make any fuss
This is my moment to remember, my moment to sit and pine
You are my last burning ember, in this fire of love that was mine
If I only have one regret, If only I really knew
That depression had a hold of you, that you were feeling so blue
Just wished you had of talked some more, just wished you could have said
Just what was getting you down my love, I feel totally here, mislead
You really don't know the demons that can be hiding inside a person
Now I see the virtues, of confiding and conversin'
So to you my love, I say to you, as I'm bleeding with emotion
You should have just, given me a clue, because you know of my devotion
So what am I supposed to tell the kids? They are too young to comprehend
