Creepy Crawly Cookies

by Roxanna Andrews

Creepy Crawly Cookies

How do you make them you may ask?
Listen close, hope you're up to the task.

Gather spiders, as many as you can
Place them on an un-greased pan,

Set the oven five hundred and three,
Bake them until brown and crispy.

Then you'll need to break them up,
Make sure you have a full half cup.

Mix flour, sugar and two eggs,
Add the spiders, don't forget the legs!

Bake until golden brown,
Until they're puffed, nice and round.

Then place them on a cooling rack
And hope they're there when you get back.

Because creepy, crawly cookies can disappear,
It is those spider legs I fear.

It's reflexes you see, and I've heard it said,
A dead spider is never really dead.

So if you find cookies in corners, your shower or radiator
It's best just to call the exterminator

Since everyone is posting food poem, I dusted off this gem. Don't give it any 6's, though I know you will want to, as they won't count since it is a rerun. =}

I do have a fear that spiders don't die, but will crawl out of the toilet where you thought you flushed them all squished in that tissue, and get their revenge. Bawhaha.
