Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
interact, not react

Bruises

I been talkin',
yes, I been talkin',
to myself,

to the world,
but, could I just,
maybe should,
think I will-
slow it down.

That's when
connections,
so long
in coming,

can't be bought,
oh no-
not me,

I'm a dreamer,
can't you see?
No,
she doesn't.

How can youth relate,
until the bruises come,
until...

they heal,
until...
they bruise again.

We must forsake our wisdom,
to be there for them.
