Just if you believe

by Walter L. Jones

Few lift the page to view time released
Only the wisdom comes in cloves
As water fills the eyes

Just if you believe
Stay
No past is written

Only the vision of the scribe
As he lays his pencil to the way
A manner in hopes

Cover the page
We have the night in help
Only the clouds pass in gray

Manner of one on one
Fingers push the experience
And in that glow

Sun dries the lost
And I walk slowly in the wine
Table bare of fate

Just a blank page
Where I wrote for you
One midnight angel
