The angelic smile on your face,
As you run along in life's race,
The wonderment and awe in your eyes,
Your sweet little heart without any vice.

How I do want to protect you,
So you remain untouched like dew,
From the harsh realities of life,
Fraught with trial, tribulations and strife.
