Trip on a stone trown

Cripple On A Pad

by Walter L. Jones

Spirit lost in hues
View of ages play
Cry in pain
Vision strain smoke

It was in the cavern
Deck of life to be
Angel on my shoulder
Stars were all I see

Into life we wander
Turn a pace to grind
Pass the river of dead
Just a package of time

Lady in travel
Stray upon the ground
Pretty faces
Clatters dollar sound

Lay down with traveler
Taste earth found
Love in a bottle
7 royal crown

Now take yourself a dreamer
Pay the price to be
Leave sin
Rain water fee

The devils I the compass
Direction well
Sell your soul
Rest eternity in hell
